Why self care is a full time job.

Self care is a full time job because it involves more than just taking care of our physical needs; it's about taking care of our mental, emotional and spiritual needs as well. It's about taking time for ourselves to rest, relax, and recharge so that we can be our best selves in all areas of life. Self care means listening to our bodies and honoring our needs, even when other people don't understand or agree. It's about taking the time to nurture ourselves, so we can be our best to others. Self care isn't lazy, it's a necessity for living our best live.

Tips for losing unwanted fat

Eat More Protein: Protein helps your body to build muscle, and the more muscle you have, the more fat you can burn. Try to incorporate lean sources of protein such as fish, poultry, and legumes into your diet.

  1. Reduce Your Carb Intake: Cutting back on carbs can help you to reduce your overall calorie intake, which can lead to fat loss. Try opting for healthier carb sources such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

  2. Increase Your Fiber Intake: Eating more fiber can help to keep you feeling full for longer, which can help you to reduce your overall calorie intake and lose fat. Try to get your fiber from sources such as whole grains, legumes, and fruits.

  3. Stay Hydrated: Staying hydrated can help to reduce hunger and cravings, and it can also help to keep your metabolism running efficiently. Aim to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.

  4. Get Enough Sleep: Getting enough sleep is essential for fat loss as it can help to reduce stress hormones, which can lead to weight gain. Try to get 7-8 hours of quality sleep each night.

Tips to improve Thoracic outlet syndrome

Here are five exercises that may help alleviate symptoms of thoracic outlet syndrome:

Breathwork; a guided chakra meditation

Welcome to this sacred journey of breathwork and chakra balancing. I am here to guide you through a transformative experience that will harmonize your energy centers and bring about a sense of deep alignment and peace within. Are you ready to embark on this beautiful voyage of self-discovery and healing? If so, let us begin:

Step 1: Preparation and Intention Find a quiet and comfortable space where you can be undisturbed. Take a moment to set your intention for this practice. Close your eyes and connect with your heart center. Feel the gentle pulse of your energy as you affirm your desire to cleanse, balance, and align your chakras. Let your intention be a beacon of light guiding your practice.

Step 2: Grounding and Centering Begin by taking a few deep and mindful breaths. Inhale deeply through your nose, allowing the air to fill your lungs, and exhale fully, releasing any tension or worries. With each breath, imagine roots extending from the soles of your feet, grounding you to the nurturing energy of Mother Earth. Feel yourself becoming rooted, stable, and connected.

Step 3: Awakening the Chakras As you continue your gentle breath, visualize a vibrant, spinning wheel of light at the base of your spine. This is your Root Chakra, associated with stability and security. With each inhale, imagine the red light expanding and energizing this chakra, releasing any fears or feelings of instability. Exhale, and as you do, envision any stagnant energy leaving your body.

Move your awareness to the area just below your navel. This is your Sacral Chakra, representing creativity and emotional well-being. Picture a warm, orange light growing brighter with each inhale. As you exhale, release any emotional blockages, allowing your emotions to flow freely and creatively.

Now, bring your attention to the solar plexus, above your navel. Here lies your Manipura Chakra, associated with personal power and confidence. Inhale, visualizing a radiant yellow light filling this space, empowering you to shine your authentic self. Exhale, letting go of self-doubt and insecurity.

Next, focus on your heart center. The Anahata Chakra, in the middle of your chest, embodies love and compassion. Breathe deeply, imagining a gentle green light expanding with every inhale. As you exhale, release any hurts and resentments, allowing love to flow freely in and out of your heart.

Move upwards to your throat, the Vishuddha Chakra, symbolizing self-expression and communication. Inhale a soothing blue light, letting it cleanse and open this space. Exhale, releasing any unspoken truths, making way for authentic expression.

Now, direct your attention to the space between your eyebrows, your Third Eye Chakra. Imagine an indigo light expanding with each inhale, enhancing your intuition and insight. As you exhale, release any mental clutter, inviting clarity and wisdom.

Finally, focus on the crown of your head, the Sahasrara Chakra. This violet or white light connects you to higher consciousness and divine energy. Inhale, envisioning this light as a brilliant crown, connecting you to the universe. Exhale, releasing any attachments and inviting a sense of spiritual connection.

Step 4: Integration and Gratitude Take a few moments to breathe deeply, feeling the harmonious flow of energy throughout your entire being. Visualize all your chakras as aligned, balanced, and radiating vibrant light. With each breath, affirm your gratitude for the healing and transformation you've experienced.

When you're ready, gently open your eyes and carry this sense of balance and alignment with you into the world. Remember that this practice is a gift you can revisit anytime you wish to realign your energy centers and nurture your soul. May you continue to walk your path with grace and light.
