Integrative massage therapy for fascia, breath, trauma release & nervous system healing.

🌴 Ali-Joy Cross, RMT, BFA, CCHt

Registered Massage Therapist β€” Vancouver & Hornby Island

My work is rooted in skilled, fascia-focused Registered Massage Therapy β€” delivered with precision, presence, and deep respect for your body’s intelligence.

I practice through a lens of structural integration and embodied awareness, working with the connective tissue, breath, and nervous system as one interconnected whole.

Each session is responsive rather than prescriptive. I listen to how your body presents β€” to areas of tension, to subtle holding patterns, and to the rhythm of your breath β€” allowing the work to unfold based on what is needed in that moment.

This is a space for those seeking evidence-informed care that supports the full system β€” physical, neurological, and emotional.

Slow. Intentional. Attuned.

🌿 HOW I WORK

My treatments are grounded in Registered Massage Therapy and shaped through an integrative, fascia-focused approach.

Sessions may include:

  • Myofascial release and Anatomy Trains–informed fascial work

  • Structural integration principles

  • Deep tissue and contract-relax techniques

  • Craniosacral and biodynamic influences

  • Somatic awareness and breathwork

  • Guided visualization and nervous system support

  • Sound-based therapeutic elements

Rather than applying a fixed protocol, I follow the body’s cues.

Some sessions are more structural β€” focused, specific, and deeply therapeutic.
Others are more subtle β€” slower, spacious, and oriented toward nervous system regulation.

Both approaches exist within the scope of Registered Massage Therapy and are selected based on what will best support your system.

This work is especially supportive for:

  • Chronic pain and tension patterns

  • Fascial restrictions and old injuries

  • Nervous system dysregulation

  • Stress, burnout, and overwhelm

  • Trauma-informed care

  • Clients seeking deeper, integrative treatment

TREATMENT APPROACHES

Registered Massage Therapy β€” Embodied Myofascial Flow:

A dynamic, fascia-focused treatment that blends deep tissue massage, myofascial release, breathwork, and gentle movement.

This approach works with the body as a connected system β€” using contract-relax techniques, guided breath, and intuitive pacing to release tension patterns and restore fluid movement.

Sessions can be both therapeutic and expansive, supporting structural change while allowing the body to reorganize naturally.

Registered Massage Therapy β€” Subtle Nervous System Work

(Craniosacral & Somatic-Informed | Fully Clothed Option Available)

A slower, more subtle treatment focused on calming the nervous system and supporting internal regulation.

Using light touch, craniosacral techniques, and somatic awareness, this approach allows the body to shift out of protective patterns and into a more balanced state.

This work is quiet, precise, and deeply restorative β€” often supporting emotional processing, improved sleep, and a sense of internal ease.
